So I watched Chasing Amy yesterday for the first time in...oh probably 5 years. I love Kevin Smith, but this particular film is definitely my favorite of the bunch, and I can't believe that I let myself go so long without watching it. There are about 10 really terrific monologues, and I've done a couple of them for audition pieces, so they were no surprise to me (you can find all of them on YouTube), but yesterday was a little emotional for me and I found myself getting all blurry eyed maybe 3 times...Luckily I was watching the movie with another girlie-girl and she was sniffly too. Three cheers for girl friends!
